- Received his International Baccalaureate from Kent School in the USA, studied business at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and attended the AMP Program at Harvard Business School in 2005.
- Had several years of experience within the food industry and has held commercial and management positions in the Netherlands, Scotland and the USA prior to joining Caldic Chemie.
- Joined the Board of Directors of Caldic B.V., and in January of 2007 took over all operational responsibilities as CEO of Caldic B.V.

- Previous experience as CFO of ACNielsen Company of Canada, a leading provider of market research information and analysis, as well as senior finance positions with Campbell Soup Company and KPMG.

- Previous experience as President of Kerry Canada for 3 years, and Operations Director / Business Development Director at Kerry Brazil for 6 years. Prior to that, Steve worked in various business roles for over 13 years at Dalgety PLC, which was later acquired by Kerry.
- Steve has a Masters of Science at Cambridge (UK), a diploma in Management Studies at Kingston University (UK), and a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology at Reading University (UK).
